American author probably was a young man living in Calgary on a ranch or a farm, which participated in horses and the stampede, I seem to recall there may have been some pictures in it, was about 10 to 13 years of age who could have the calgary stampede word or the title — I've already checked-name may be out of print, I guess you can think what this book could also be called in I think history she and her family were in danger of losing the farm

Could that have been "Circle B Chuckwagon," a novel for adults young people stampeding livestock and Vera Fidler ordeal published in the 50's, or perhaps "Peter in the Stampede" by Gordon Langley Hall in 1961?
