The Cadillac Ranch is the work of Amarillo millionaire Stanley Marsh III. It is composed of ten vintage Cadillacs dating from 1949 to 1964. The Cadillacs are covered in graffiti but what makes them special is the way they are presented. They are parked in an orderly queue, but are buried in the floor. Basically they are planted in the ground face down buried all the way to the rear seats. The Cadillac Ranch was built in 1974 by a group based in San Francisco known as the Ant, and has since become one of the most famous roadside attractions. Visitors love it and they are allowed to add your own artwork to the screen. You can actually use spray paint and markers to add their creative touch to the car. It is an interesting attraction that you should be sure go see. Just be sure to bring a camera.

If you wish to visit the Cadillac Ranch you can find on Interstate 40 in Amarillo on the stretch of the south wall, between exits 60 and 62. It is open daily and admission is free. Have fun.
