America Ranch Holidays

I have always wanted to go on a ranch/cowboy type holiday in America with my 2 kids.?

But when I looked into it, it costs several thousands of pounds. Does it really have to be that expensive? It seemed to me a complete rip off! Does anyone have any cheaper experiences they could pass on?

Come to America, stay in Texas, and take your children to a petting zoo. It is like the same thing. There are also places where you may rent horses to go horseback riding. Attend a Rodeo and they shall see Cows. There are many day trips available.
