How much is a L.A. Huffman tinted collotype worth?

I have a few pictures by L.A. Huffman, a historical western photographer from Mile City, Montana. These pictures are tinted collotypes and range in size averaging about 11×14″.

The photos I have are titled “Diamond R Bull Train” Mile City 1880, “The Line Camp”, “Tex Stallings Freight Outfit”, “Spotted Eagles Sioux Village”, “Waiting for the Iron to Heat”, and “Interior of an Old time Ranch” Powder River.

If you have any info on these or how much they might be worth, or where I could find out, PLEASE let me know!

They sell pretty regularly for $25 to $75.

I would be interested in any that depict railroads or locomotives.

Keep in mind that his work has been reproduced in books, on postcards, prints, and posters for decades. Even photographs made from his original negatives by modern darkroom operators float around.

Any type of reproduction is worth much less; 99 cents to about $10 for photographs from original negative.
