Why did Bush buy his ranch before the 2000 election, and sell it right after leaving office?

You think it was a prop, maybe? Funny how he moved right back to the big city after leaving office.

For about the same reason Cheney moved out of Texas when he decided to run with Bush.
The same reason Bush got all dressed up in his pretty suit and stood on the deck with “Mission Accomplished” seven years ago.

Hes good with props isn’t he?

Doesn’t it bother any one that he played off his image of rough cowboy, out there on the prairie whacking brush?
This Ivy League educated legacy whose manners were so abrasive and whose knowledge of etiquette and protocol was absymal that he offended most of the world? Its really OK that he scammed you? No shake of the head? No, sinking feeling? The guy was a photo op from the get go, and thats fine?

No wonder we are in trouble.
