Burn bans Dallas County (Texas) Camping question?
Is there still a burn ban in place here in the Dallas / Ft Worth and do not apply to large private properties (ie, ranches, church grounds, etc.)? If you burn bans, you are allowed to fire at all and what circumstances? (In other words, it lets you build a fire if clearing vegetation, dig a small hole, put stones around it, make sure the fire is not directly under trees, etc, etc?) I'm not talking about a fire or something, I mean a small fire (just to get all this clear.) Many gracias.-S.
call the local police and ask. Most places will let you dig a hole for which, if the majority of fires is under the ground level is good and make sure you have some water handy if they come to see that he looks like you are at least trying to be strong
