Love Ranch

love ranch

It had been years since I attended a wedding, so I wondered if the use of technology at the wedding, it seems irreverent. It turned out, I was delighted with how well the technology had invaded the scene.

Of course, the wedding I attended in Colorado was a little different. Only the family of the groom lived nearby. Never was a surprise, however, that the bride had chosen this place for their wedding. The mountains were beautiful, and the ranch is where the couple met, when were only young children.

Since many guests had come from somewhere other than Colorado, and the guests were housed in the same ranch, the groom's parents are all invited to the rehearsal dinner.

Somebody, mothers, more likely, although there were many other things to make a-had created CDĂ‚'s with pictures of the bride and groom from birth to the festivities behind the scenes at the ranch. The music was added, and each of the parents talked about love, about the life of his son. Each of them shared your child's special moments, such as photos flashed on the screen, and music playing softly in the background. The presentation was fantastic, and all attendees laughed and cried at the appropriate times. That night when I went to sleep, I realized how large a role technology has played in our night of fun.

At the wedding, there was no evidence of technology. While the guests arrived, the same pictures flashed on the screen at the front of the church. When the music began, it was beautiful. The voices of the singers were perfect, of course. But technology played a part. Even the smallest of churches now typically have better sound systems. This was no different, and that only the correct mix music and the voice helped create a heavenly sound.

Amid the festivities, the guests visited the salon dude ranch, where they could seek new messages. Later, at reception, I realized that many cell phones do not work well in the mountains. However, it was fun to see the guests and members of the wedding party taking pictures with their cell phones.

Just days later I was back at home and in front of my own team, got an email informing me that I could see the wedding pictures on the website of photographerÂ's. I figured it would only a few pictures for friends and family to see there. Wrong! The site provides access to all the photographs taken at the rehearsal dinner, while the bride and groom were being prepared, and at the wedding and reception. There were hundreds of photos to view. And the photographer had even provided a way for friends and family to photos, as you see.

I smiled when I realized how many times had really changed. But that was a good thing.
