New Mexico Land Ranches

How did Ted Turner get so much land? How much did it cost him? and where would you find so much land?
He has 2 million acres of Land, I am wondering how he got it… He has 1 million acres on one Ranch in New Mexico. Does anyone know how much it costed him? Did he get it from an individual or The Government? and Where could you find so much land for sale? Is there like a Website? Well Thanks and GodBless I hope this wasn’t a bother
.
He is very wealthy and he bought it. Mostly from private land owners. There are real estate people that specialize in large parcels of land. If you have enough money you can buy anything. Real estate/land is always a good investment as it will never go anywhere. By putting his money in land purchases, he doesn’t have to worry about where to keep it. When you have billions you run out of places to put it.

She ruled in several opinions that, under a 160-year-old Mexican land grant (similar to colonial Spanish grants) and a 1… |
