Oregon Ranch And Home

wyoming or oregon?

So i am 19 in college and i got 2 job offers to wyoming and oregon, i have been to neither and barely been out of my home state of texas. I know for a fact wyoming is pretty sweet, but Oregon, i dont know about, i know there was a sweet game named after it called the oregon trail!! So Wyoming is gonna pay me about 4500 for the summer and Oregon is gonna pay me 6 for the summer. which would you choose, and remember in my case money is not the biggest motivater for me. I would probably go to the more cool place! although money is a plus!!! the ranch in oregon is close to pilot rock and the ranch in wyoming is near shawnee or gleno. any advice? thanks!

Well first off I have worked in Wyoming in and around Buffalo, Wy in the Big Horn Mountains.
Which is in Johnson Co., Ever hear of the Johnson Co. Cattle war?
Wyoming is not all barren and desolate !!!
It is up to you in where you are wanting to work.
What experience are you seeking?
Want to work in real old cowboy country.
If it was me and its just for the summer I would go back to Wy. in a heart beat.
Lots a history in Wy. to be explored and or sites to be visited…like Hole in the Wall.
Anyway it is your chose, think about what you want to see and experience. Get on line and study the county you will be working in and surrounding area.
