why do owls follow people?

along time ago my uncle lived in mexico in a ranch where alot of people came together for town party anyways ,my uncle and his best friend where at a town party they where verry young they maide a bet about who ever had the most girl friends that day my uncle won he had 5 his friend had 3 it was just a game anyway a week later my uncle found all the 5 girls together from the party ,he just walked away, some weeks later he was walking thru the woods picking up like every day and there was like alot owls following him and they wouldn’t stop every night he was followed one time he took a gun that worked just fine. But when he was in front of the owls the gun wouln’t fire until one day he yelled leve me alone or ill kill you i know who you are! and that day they stopped following him the for a while then they followed him again, the gun wouldn’t fire in front of the owls only when it wasen’t pointing at them until he made a cross in the bullet that time it fired. true story
