Ranch Retreats

Can anyone name some good "weekend" places in the DFW area?

I went to Garrett Creek Ranch yesterday with my mates work for the establishment of exercise equipment. We spent the night and although it was not my ideal weekend was very nice. I'm looking for something similar but not as rustic and country and western themes. I have 30 and my husband is 29, so we are looking for somewhere that can turn to us. I am looking for a stay of two nights in a hostel or hut or shelter that does business center, bar, etc.

Jefferson, Texas, is approximately three hours from Dallas, but it's definitely a "break" place. If you go there, you might want to check out Skinner's aunt and Licea Mexican restaurant. For something closer to Dallas, try to Denison, about 75 miles north of Dallas. There is a Tanglewood West Denison is a set of high level.
