When and or how should I try to buy a home?

My situation is rather unique my mother and father will have to live with me my mom is disabled and cant do anything by herself, idealy we have a 3bed 1.5bath ranch style and we need a BIGGER HOUSE!!!!! 4bed 2bath min or maybe a smaller house with a guest house. i am in college and have 3 quarters left for my degree and i can pursue a more secure career. My fiance works at fred myer atm and will also support the new house my dad also can work for a few more years. we think we should sell this house but my mom thinks we need to keep onto it and rent it and wait for market to go up. idk if the market will go up but we are super croweded and its about WW3 time in our home.

If your credit is good and you have a decent income now if a great time to buy. Home prices are lower than they have been in a while and there are great deals out there. Basically what you want to do is talk to a realtor and they should be able to find a mortgage company that can pre-approve you. Or start with a pre-approval then find a realtor. After those two things you will be looking at homes in no time.
