Who will reign-in the out of control politicians & help the average citizen ?!?

Aren’t President Bush (set on building a NAFTA Superhighway) & Texas governor Rick Perry (who plans a Trans-Texas Corridor) both land-grabbers for the rich?! The plans seem to be to get cheap Mexican labor together with cheap Canadian natural resources for the sake of big business profits. I’ve read it will cause wages in the USA to PLUMMET. Also, it seems that the land in Texas (& elsewhere?!) will be snatched up, ripping it away from local families and making it available for sale or lease to others, for gas stations, hotels, diners, etc., along the route. In Texas, NO community seems to be clamoring to have this highway, and it will eat up lots of valuable farm & ranch land (– like 4 football fields wide in some areas). (- Fumes!!)
At the borders, the plan is to only electronically inspect massive numbers of inbound trucks, it seems. Who cares about citizens’ rights or the need for national security when rich politicians & business cronies make BIG $$$. Stomp it !!
