How can a person without money to defend a DUI in California, what is the best strategy?
A big boy of 22 years of age, was arrested around 2 am Returning to his home in Rancho Santa Margarita area, basically, for driving a beat up car at that hour and led to his arrest for DUI. Now he is facing the legal aspect of this situation and given that resources are fairly limited at this time, the question is: How can a person defend themselves if they have limited resources?
If this is a first offense, could be applied or request a deferred adjudication or deviation, depending on what your state calls it. Basically, it is similar to probation, but not actually guilty of DUI. You do not have to have a lawyer that it represents to achieving a "diversion". Good luck!
