Growing up in LA in the 50′s I paid 5 cents for a candy bar, 10 cents for a bottle of Coke out of a machine, and a dime for a phone call. At latest count, candy bars (which btw don’t taste anywhere near as good as they used to) are running 99 cents, Bottled Cokes from Mexico (I buy them cause they are made with real sugar no fructose or corn syrup) run One dollar each (on special), and if we can find a pay phone we hope we can get some change to make the call. The left winged government which has dominated the US since the sixties just never seems to have our
best interests at heart. Public schools have been around since the 1600′s. And up until the sixties high school grads were required to be
literate. But thanks to the libs 50% of all high school grads coming out of LA Inter City Schools are now functionally illiterate. RKO’s response seems affirmative at first glance, but the success of the highway systems becomes diminished when you realize that tax payers have payed double and triple for the highway systems that exist. Law Enforcement Agencies certainly earn their pay, but crime
in the LA Area continues to be a major problem, with as many as
a hundred thousand people in gangs. This is further exasperated by
the judicial activists who are more concerned with the rights of criminals than those of victims. God help us.
