axis deer have died on ranch in the last 2 months, i think it is something they are eating ,poisonous plant, but only to axis deer , not any other livestock,whitetail ,blackbucks and others, something that has blumed from the rains here recently, what is this killing them, Hill country kendall county texas

I agree with LNV’s answer. Jimson weed sounds like it could be the culprit. Here is a site with some pictures of the plant. My dad and I call it locoweed.
